WHO WE ARE

Alberto Duarte, a native of Brazil, has been kiting since 1999. He has spent the majority of his career in the hospitality industry, and is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Alberto's goal has always been to share his love of kiting by creating a unique experience for people. Kite Adventures was the perfect opportunity to do just that. His love of the sport, passion for life, respect for the earth, and concern for others has earned him the great respect of both colleagues and guests. He's in his natural element in Brazil and personally handles the details our tours and surfaris. One week with him and you'll understand why he makes coming to Brazil such a special experience. Oliver Berlic heads up sales and marketing for Kite Adventures, and manages our Kite Adventures Paracuru camps and pro camps. He's an IKO-certified kiteboarding instructor, fluent in Portuguese, and a dual-citizen of both the US and Brazil. He helped create the CKA Collegiate Kitesurfing Association while in school at Eckerd College and since then as been an influencial part in Kite Adventures' growth. David Hassell is in charge of building strategic partner relationships for Kite Adventures as well as overseeing Kite Adventures overall company strategy.  In addition to finding ways to share the Kite Adventures experience with as many people as possible, he loves traveling the world in search of new windy locations.  His favorite part of the Kite Adventures 10-day tour is the strapless wave riding on Brazil's endless kiteboarding downwinders.  He can be reached by email at .
